I have visited this place Ohri’s @ Boulder Hills , with my friend last week on a misty rainy day.
The gorgeous, spacious and beautifully landscaped view of the Boulder Hills golf ground was the main attraction indeed.

Now, coming to it, as a restaurant: we were avoiding this place since long, because of the poor rating on zomato.
But, ultimately decided to visit it (Courtesy: that day’s weather). We were convinced that we will only have some tea/coffee. But that location, insisted us to stay there for long and only to consider that urge, we ordered a starter.
It was chilli paneer that we ordered along with the tea. And definitely, it was perfect to its taste and the tea was absolutely rejuvenating.
We wanted to stay back further and ordered Pomodoro pasta. Actually we asked for Basil Pesto (Fusili), but they didn’t have basil sauce and fusili pasta and that was informed to us with full courtesy.
And then as we got Pomodoro pasta (Penne) , it was absolutely delectable and enjoyable. Infact we asked to prepare it as a blend of red and white sauce and the blend came out to be just perfect. I consider the quantity was a bit less. It was served with a toasted garlic bread.
Again we ordered coffee which was also, absolutely awesome.
So, me and my friend were absolutely satisfied with the food quality.
Coming to the ambience: As we enter the restaurant, the lobby and the arm chairs and the lighting is absolutely awesome. Then it gets opened to a big hall (probably that place is the buffet spread area). Honestly, that place needs a real improvement on its arrangements and decor, specially considering the rest of the restaurant’s ambience.
Then it gets opened to the other sitting area and then the bar place and then the outside seating. Undoubtedly, awesome it is. Furnitures are old world’s British charm.
The music that being played, was very soothing and classy, unlike the loud music which literally creates a lot of disturbance to the people who wants to eat peacefully and even talk to the people around.
The plates and specially the tea/coffee crockery were stunning and personified porcelain. The classic white crockery.
The waiter and the restaurant people were extremely generous and kind at their behavior.
The overall architecture of the restaurant is an old times British charm . Its aesthetic.
To add to this: I would like to mention that this is a very chic and classy place for dining along with family, or colleagues or for celebrating a nice evening or to simply sit, sip, eat and work/read.
- At the end, one of the coffee cups had a slightly cracked handle.
- Few furnitures need to be mended.
- The buffet spread area need to be decorated at par with the rest of the restaurant.
- To introduce a specialized British/Continental breakfast buffet spread.
- At times, playing the English kind of music like
Food: 4.5 (there is always some scope of improvement)
Ambience: 4.5 (they need to take care of few things)
Value for Money: 4 ( it was towards a costlier side. Food wise I would have rated 3 , but due to the view I just increase that by 1)
(P.S. Sincere apologies to all the readers, for not being able to provide the pics of the food and interiors. As we were so engulfed with the beauty of its surrounding and the happiness of the taste buds that, we forgot to take the pics, literally)
